There’s something special about being in the room as a moment is happening. That unique moment where something new is being created. Whether that is music, conversation, relationship, art - each moment is new as time moves forward. It’s never happened exactly like that before and never will again.
That’s why we decided to do this worship project. Our goal was to hit a space where we were free, flowing with something beyond ourselves, where we were in step with each other and with the Holy Spirit, where we just intuitively knew where to go next.
So we began to dream about capturing it in a way that brought people into the room with us. We want you to be able to connect with the music that happened right then, right there, even though you couldn't physically be in the room; to experience that same moment with us.
In November of 2020
a group of old friends went away together
with nothing but a handful of half written songs and no plan
just hit record, see what happens and capture something real.
We ended up with an album,

Not quite live, but not quite ‘studio’ recording. Our set up at Waldara Farm allowed us to all play together as a band and be free to go wherever the moment FELT TO GO. This series of IN THE ROOM films bringS you into that moment with us.
